music.fcc.cc

A web player for Archive.org audio. The whole idea is that you search, hit play, and listen, without ads or an interface trying to engage you.

Search took most of the work. The raw Archive.org results are rough, and it took a lot of tweaking before I could reliably turn up something I actually wanted instead of weird electronica. There are playlists and a shuffle mix, and a few ways in if you don’t know what you’re looking for — Riker’s Pick each week, a community-loved shelf, guided radio, an artist index, and a crate-digger row that changes daily.

Update — August 18, 2026

Moved to https://fcc.cc/music/ . The old address redirects.

Stations came along since — a live radio directory at https://fcc.cc/stations/ , running on the same engine.
