WeatherDog is the standalone, dog-branded home of the forecast engine behind fcc.cc/weather. Search by city, ZIP, or address, or use your current location. It brings together current conditions, rain in the next hour, hourly and ten-day forecasts, wind, UV, pollen, radar, moon data, an almanac, and nearby parks — then turns the same forecast into a plain-language account of the day.
It works without an account. Saved places stay in the browser, and signing in with an email link is optional. An account syncs favorites across devices and adds daily forecast emails and threshold alerts. There are no ads or tracking.
WeatherDog is also the reference version of a small hosted weather platform. The same forecast can run under someone else’s domain, colors, and logo. That part is in alpha, and the source is public for anyone who would rather self-host.
There’s a native iOS app too — not a web wrapper — using the same WeatherDog service and signed-in favorites, with home-screen and lock-screen widgets. To join the beta, request TestFlight access → . Include the email address you use with TestFlight in your request.
